Merry Christmas! And Happy New Year! It’s been such a fun, exciting week. We had a super fun couple of days for Christmas.
On Christmas Eve, we ate dinner with Maria Paz and her family. We made hamburgers and Maria Paz made a bunch of super good food, and that was a way fun dinner.
That night, we went to our Zone Leaders’ pension (apartment) with all of the Elders in our zone. We all got there and realized that there were four matresses for twelve people haha, so the majority of us slept on the floor.
On Christmas morning, as a mission, we finished reading the Book of Mormon together at 9 o’clock, and then prayed as a mission to reconfirm the truthfulness of it. It was such a cool experience, and I felt so much peace as I prayed. All of the stories and the lessons that I’ve learned came into my mind as I prayed. I love the Book of Mormon and I KNOW that Heavenly Father gave us the Book of Mormon for this time in the world. I’m so grateful for it and know that it´s true.
Later, we ate lunch with Elder Smith and Elder Romo. Elder Smith gave me a Christmas present, a tie, which was sick haha I love that kid. We then went and called home, which was awesome, I love my family, and then finished the night playing Uno with Maria Paz and her family.
On Thursday, I went and did splits in Rosario Sur with Elder Topham from Oklahoma! That was super fun, and we had some awesome, Spirit filled lessons together.
On Friday, we had our End of Year Dinner with the Belgrano Ward! That was such a cool experience, especially because lots of the people we are teaching could come!
It’s been a great week! I love Christmas. I hope all of you guys have a Happy New Year 2020. I love you guys and I´m super grateful for every one of you. If there’s anything I can do for you, let me know!! Thanks for everything!
