We had an awesome lesson with Gabriel and Liliana on Monday. They and their 2 kids, Ailen and Marcos, were all able to come to church and they had some awesome questions. They’re reading the Book of Mormon and really looking for that spiritual confirmation. Please pray for them! They have so much potential and we are super excited to keep teaching them.
On Thursday, I went to Rosario with Elder Smith and Elder Miklich which was super fun. We had paperwork to do to get legal in the country, and we had to wait in the immigration office for like 4 hours haha but we played Uno and ate facturas (pastries). Then, we went to McDonald’s where I ate a BigMac combo haha it was so good. It took me right back home ❤ Then, we came back at night and had a mini-family home evening with Gabriel and Liliana, and Elder Miklich and his companion Elder Bowie. We watched the Joseph Smith movie with them and they loved it and said they're gonna keep looking for the confirmation that it's true. They have so much potential and we are giving it our all to help them haha. I love them lots and I'm really hoping and praying for them.
Friday, I got to go on splits with Elder Miklich so that was way fun. Our companions had to go to Rosario, so we got to stay and work together. We ate lunch with Familia Masello and Priscila, who we've been teaching, and then had a lesson with her later in the day. She is so prepared it's insane. She's reading a ton in the Book of Mormon and is memorizing EFY music and using the Gospel Library app. It's crazy and so cool to see. We were talking today, and she said that she knew that the way we'd met wasn't a coincidence, and it definitely wasn't after the miracle we had where we found her. It's so cool to see God's hand and blessings in the work right now.
We've had a great week here in Castelli. There's been a lot to do with the whole ward as one area, but we are seeing lots of blessings and success. Prisila came to church again and loved it and is progressing a ton. We are super excited for her and her baptism that's coming up in a few weeks. I'm loving the mission and learning a ton. Elder Maco and I are doing great, I love that kid haha. We are working well together and good friends already. Thank you for your prayers! I love you guys and am super grateful for all of you.
