Week 5
Hola! I hope you guys are all having an awesome week. It’s crazy that my time in the CCM is almost done. My next email will be from the field! Pretty crazy.
On Wednesday, it was P-Day so we were able to let our minds relax and played sand volleyball which was fun. It’s crazy that we only have 1 more P-Day here, I’m excited to be out in the field but nervous because Spanish is hard haha. But it’s coming along and I know that it will continue to. The Lord will provide.
Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me”.
On Saturday, we had an awesome experience teaching our teacher, Hermano Mora. In it, we taught him about the Plan of Salvation and The Atonement of Jesus Christ. During the lesson, the Spirit was so strong and it was the first time that had happened while teaching solely in Spanish. Afterward, our teacher talked about how strong he felt the Spirit. That made me want to walk out of the MTC and into the field haha.
Sunday was awesome. With so many missionaries fasting, the Spirit was so strong. During Sacrament, it was some of the strongest I’ve ever felt the Spirit. I was just sitting there the whole meeting with tears streaming down my face, and then I bore my testimony about how much I knew Christ loves us all. It was not pretty, I was worse than my dad. But I love constantly feeling the Spirit. It is the coolest opportunity. I love the CCM.
We found out that we are leaving the CCM at 4:30AM on Monday! So like 4 more days! It is crazy how quickly my time at the CCM has gone. I’m so excited to get out into the field. My testimony has grown so much in my 6 weeks here, and I can’t wait to get out into the field and start helping others Come unto Christ. I’ve loved my time at the CCM and I’ve made so many friends, but I’m very ready to get out there and start teaching people this gospel. I’m so grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given to serve a mission, and I hope I can be an instrument in God’s plan. I can’t wait to serve! My next email will be from Argentina! Thank you all for your prayers! I love you all.
